Kazaa

NOTE: If you use Kazaa, clicking the Close button does not quit the program. Kazaa continues to run in the background using network resources even if all windows are closed. A Kazaa icon will be visible in the status area of the task bar. To quit Kazaa, right-click the icon in the task bar and select Exit.

How to reduce uploading

1. Select Tools, then Options.

2. In the Options window, click the Sharing tab. Remove the check from Share files in 'My Shared Folder'.

3. In the Options window, click the Advanced tab. Change the Maximum bandwidth to be used for transferring files to other Kazaa Media Desktop Users to 24.

4. Check Do not function as a Supernode.

5. Change the Maximum simultaneous uploads to 1.

5. Click OK.
