OS X Leopard is covered under our existing contract, all Duke owned machines are eligible to be upgrade upon release. Media to install will not be available at release, however if you have access to original media you are covered to install on Duke owned machines. To request media ($15) place a request through the order form, we will send further details on availability.
OS X no longer includes OS 9. You will need to purchase OS 9 CDs for $15. There is no charge to enroll in this program. It is centrally funded by Arts and Sciences, OIT and Student Affairs.
CDs cannot be duplicated for distribution. You will receive original CDs which can be installed on multiple eligible machines or put on a secure server to distribute over the network to eligible machines. This can only be distributed on campus to Duke-owned machines. Students are not eligible and will need to purchase from the Duke Computer store.
