Users will need to install McAfee VirusScan or Virex first, then install the latest Virus Definitions. You should update your virus definitions at least once a month.
Virex protects against macro viruses, automatically scans files downloaded from the Internet, scans compressed files, including Zip archives, easy-to-access Control Strip module, DropScan and Virex Contextual Menu Plug-in.
When properly updated, McAfee VirusScan or Virex ensures your Macintosh is completely protected from every angle, whether you are downloading files from the Internet or copying files from a diskette or server.
