Single line phones

OIT carries the following single-line phones for use on all telephone systems.

Multi-line phones

Unlike analog telephones, multi-line telephone instruments are specific to a particular platform. Telephone instruments from one system will only operate on that platform. If you have questions concerning which telephone platform you reside on, contact the OIT Telcom Help Desk at (919) 684-2200 and select option 3. A representative will assist you in determining which telephone instrument is right for you.

G3R system

• Users on the Avaya G3R PBX system can select from two Avaya multi-line telephones. 

5ESS system

• Users on the Lucent 5ESS central office may select from the following multi-line telephones. For high call volume users a thirty-button add on module is available.
