Project and Consulting Services is responsible for establishing and directing the overall strategy, direction, and operational plans for the consistent application of the service life cycle methodology, project management, and other organization-wide methodologies for the Office of Information Technology.

This is accomplished by:

  • developing, maintaining and deploying standards, tools, templates and documented methodologies
  • establishing collaborative and mentoring relationships with operational managers and project managers to provide leadership, coordinate efforts and leverage knowledge for continued improvement and evolution of OIT’s methodologies
  • maintaining and tracking a list of OIT projects to provide global reporting of project status and checkpoints that aid in priority setting and strategic planning
  • providing project management resources and services for select high-priority projects as assigned by the CIO
