Debbie DeYulia became director of technology support in March 2006. She oversees front-end services for faculty, students and staff at the university for their computing and telephony needs and Duke Medicine for their telephony needs. She also oversees the Enterprise Device and Services Support group, which provides desktop support to departments on campus, as well as second-level support for enterprise applications.
Also included in her group is a project manager who leads efforts to improve service delivery. He acts as the operational liaison with outside groups, and manages efforts to implement long-term objectives.
Debbie has been at Duke University for close to 10 years, beginning as an analyst for the OIT Help Desk in 1998. She became manager of the OIT Help Desk in 1999 and senior manager of customer support in 2001.
She has an M.A. in cognitive psychology from East Carolina University and a B.S. in psychology from James Madison University.
