Windows XP users: The Windows XP client allows easy double-sided printing. When printing a document, select the ePrint-OIT printer for single-sided printing or the ePrint-OIT(2-sided) printer for double-sided printing.

Windows Vista users: You must use Windows Vista's "Run as Administrator..." command to install ePrint. Please note the Vista installer only creates the ePrint-OIT queue. For duplex printing, click Properties or Preferences when you print and select "Print on Both Sides" from the Finishing tab.

Important Notes:

  • If you already have installed ePrint on your computer, please uninstall it completely and then delete any ePrint local printers on your computer before running the installer below.
  • At this time ePrint services are available only to computers on a Duke network, or computers off-campus that are connected to the Duke network via the VPN client.

Technical Support

Please contact the OIT Help Desk For assistance.
* OIT does not provide any support for ePrint on Unix/Linux. We only provide instructions as a guide to assist you in configuring your workstation.

Additional Information

Once installed, your printed document will be sent to a centralized print queue. You can then go to any OIT computer lab or residential quad printer and swipe your DukeCard at one of the new Pharos ePrint stations. At that time you will see only your own print queue. Click on the document you wish to print. Print jobs will remain in the print queue for 12 hours, and then will automatically be deleted.
