Personal File Storage and Backup
Duke OIT offers services for storing, backing up and recovering your files. As a member of the Duke University community, you can use the WebFiles, Duke's free online Web space, to manage your files. Duke faculty, staff and students also have the option to subscribe to Iron Mountain's file backup service at a discounted rate.
NOTE: As a member of the faculty or staff, you may have access to file space provided by your department (for example, via Novell, Windows or Lotus Notes). For details on your department's solution, contact your department's IT support staff. Information on enterprise-level backup solutions can be found on our Enterprise TSM Backups page.

Personal Computer File Backup
If you rarely perform file backups, or use a flash drive or another external device to back up important files on your personal computer, you run the risk of losing your files.
