OIT Training

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers both free pre-scheduled technology seminars and OnDemand Training to support Duke academic needs and assist the university community in using OIT-specific tools. In addition to OIT training resources, several other Duke departments offer training.

Free Technology Training Seminars

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides a free series of seminars on a variety of information technology topics. All seminars are free of charge and open to Duke students, staff and faculty.

Learn IT @ Lunch Seminar Series 

The  Learn IT @ Lunch series is designed to be an opportunity for you to learn about technology directly from Duke IT Staff. Each session will includes a presentation followed by a Q & A session in a relaxed lunch environment. All Duke students, staff and faculty are welcome to participate.

  • No preregistration is required.
  • Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.

OnDemand Training

OnDemand Training allows Duke groups to request just-in-time training for group or course needs.  This service focuses on Duke-specific tools (such as the DukeWiki and iTunes U) and in classroom training for tools and technology related to the Duke Digital Initiative.
