Upcoming Digital Media Community Events

May 3 , 3:00 - 4:30, 023 Bostock - Screen Capture from Your PC/Mac: Camtasia, Snapz Pro X, and More.

Sample Screen Captures:

  • Ron Scott of TechSmith (maker of Camtasia) will be visiting from Washington D.C. to deiver a presentation on Camtasia.
  • John Carbuccia - School of Nursing - Captivate Tutorials
  • Trey Turner - School of Nursing - http://www.duke.edu/~ghturner/WinZip-Demo/WinZip-Demo.htm is a narrated tutorial intended for students in our on-line classes explaining how to use WinZip. Student in some of our on-line courses work together in project teams to prepare a narrated presentation of their project. Since the files are relatively large and our distant-ed students are scattered across the US, they usually have to compress them to a Zip file and send them through an on-line web delivery service (ie, YOUSENTIT, or MEGAUPLOAD, etc). The tutorial was created using screen (and audio) capture with Captivate.
  • John Carbuccia - School of Nursing - This is a tutorial explaining how to prepare a narrated PowerPoint presentation using the PPT Record Narration function.
