SMTP Server Settings
for Eudora 6 or above

1. Open Eudora.

2. Click on Tools and select Options.

3. Click on Getting Started.

4. Type smtp.duke.edu in the SMTP Server (Outgoing) field. Click to Allow authentication.

5.Click on Sending Mail.

6. Check the box for Allow authentication.

7. From the Secure Sockets when Receiving drop-down menu, choose Required, Alternate Port.

8. Click OK.
