Connecting the microphone to a 5th generation "video" iPod

  1. First, attach the microphone to the dock connector at the bottom of the iPod. The iPod should turn on automatically.
  2. The iPod's display should show the "Voice Memo" menu. If it doesn't, use the click wheel to navigate to Extras > Voice Memos.
