iTunes U
Classroom Applications
All designated iPod courses have access to iTunes U for distributing and sharing audio and video materials. Faculty can distribute multimedia course materials, collect audio or video assignments from students, or enable students to share materials for group projects.
How to download course content from iTunes U
- To download an individual file from iTunes U, click the "Get Song" or "Get movie" next to it. iTunes will automatically organize all iTunes U content by course.
- To download all the files in tab, click the "Get Files" button in the header.
- To subscribe to the course as a podcast, click the "Subscribe" button in the header. iTunes will automatically download new content to your computer as soon as it is uploaded.
How to upload content to iTunes U
Click the "Upload Files" link at the top of the iTunes U window. You will be redirected to a browser window where you can upload your files. For step-by-step information, see Uploading to iTunes U.
File Formats
- Audio: unprotected .mp3, .m4a (AAC), or .wav files
- Video: .mp4, .m4v, or .mov files that can be played in iTunes. There are specific formatting requirements for files that can be played back on the iPod.
- Materials purchased from the iTunes Store cannot be redistributed.
