Cable TV & Phone Services 

Residence hall life just wouldn’t be the same without cable TV, phone service, and all the other ways we like to stay in touch.  Duke has a number of programs in place to offer these communication services availability and rates.

Cable

Multiple cable packages are available for purchase for your room on campus. To sign up, see the "Sign Up for Services" section below.  Note: Cable will be available free in all residence halls until the end of August.

Cell Phone 

Cell phone service is available at a discounted rate.  To familiarize yourself with the plans and rates that are offered go to the wireless phones page.  To sign up, see the "Sign Up for Services" section below. (Wireless Service Center: 101 Facilities Drive on Duke's West Campus) 

Local Phone

Local phone service is available, at various rates, for your room on campus.  Long distance service is also available for various rates. To sign up, see "Sign Up for Services" section below.

Sign Up for Services

You will need your NetID to sign up. Go to the sign up page and then click on "Student Accounts" under the Phone, Cable TV, Paging and Wireless section. Then click on "Manage My OIT Account" and log in with your NetID. Go to the "Customer Portal" section. Once in your account, click on "My Services" in the top bar. The table will list all of your current services (which will be empty). To sign up for a new service, click on "Add Service" right above the table and follow the instructions on the screen.

Billing Questions and Processes

You will be notified via email when your Duke OIT bill is ready to be viewed.  View the Duke OIT Billing FAQ for more information. 

All emails are sent to your official email address as it appears in the Duke directory.
