Network Maintenance - Fitzpatrick East Data Center - Nov 29- 6am - 9am (2009-11-29 06:00)

OIT will be performing scheduled network maintenance in the Fitzpatrick East data center between 6 and 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009. The impact should be minimal and most services will only experience a loss of network connectivity for approximately 5-8 minutes. However, due to the number of devices involved, we may experience interruptions for an extended period of time within the 6-9am window.

The following critical/essential services hosted in this data center will experience no interruption in service. These services are:

Amcom (Paging)
DNS
DHCP
Kerberos/NetID authentication
LDAP (Directory services)
DukeMail Gateways
Identity Management (OIM)
Shibboleth
UUCE/VoIP
WebAuth
Emergency.duke.edu
Jabber.duke.edu
Unity Voicemail

AT&T Wireless Data Network issues (2009-11-23 10:46)

Lotus Notes: Intermittent Network Connectivity Issue (2009-11-22 13:00)

Unity Voicemail Maintenance (2009-11-21 9:00)

OIT and CTI will be applying patches to the Unity Voicemail environment.  During the window users will experience intermittent periods of limited functionality where they can receive and check new messages but any stored messages will be unavailable.  Also during the server reboots message indicators will not alert users of new messages.
