Welcome to the OIT Software Licensing Web page. This is a resource for members of the Duke community to get the volume and site-licensed software that OIT offers. Volume and site-licensed software is purchased in bulk and distributed or resold at a discount to members of the Duke community.

Available software list

Duke offers a variety of software that is available for download or purchase through OIT Site-License Office or other campus groups. Read the list here. All downloads require a NetID.

New software evaluations

Any members of the Duke community can submit a request for new software to be evaluated for use in academics, research, IT or operations. Choose one of the two following committees for more information on the process.

Academic software requests

Academic and research software requests are reviewed by the ITAC Academic Technology Subcommittee (ITAC AcadTech).

IT and operational requests

Software used primarily for IT and Operational needs is reviewed by the Software License Committee.
