Uploading streaming files using DukeStream Personal

You can use WebFilesto upload media content for sharing by following these steps:

  1. Go to http://webfiles.duke.edu
  2. Click the shared spaces tab.
  3. The first section lists personal web space directories. Click the button labeled Upload to Streaming. If you have not set up your environment, the button will be labeled Create Streaming.
  4. A new window will appear. Click the Browse button and select your file for uploading. Click Add Another File for additional files. If you are replacing existing files, click the check the check box for Overwrite files during upload?.
  5. Click the Upload File(s) button.
  6. After the upload is completed, you can send email with link information for your content. While still in the shared spaces section, click the link ending in Sites/Streaming.
  7. Click the checkbox by the file you uploaded. Select the option Send Selected Links via Email located in the left window.
  8. A message should open in your email client with the link information. Fill out the appropriate addressees and modify the message if necessary, then send it.
