ViewsFlash Survey Software

ViewsFlash by Cogix is a complete Web-based authoring and publishing system for conducting surveys and creating polls and quizzes online. Among its capabilities are customizable look-and-feel, survey scheduling, optional authentication, and real-time results reporting.

The tool allows for survey design including:

  • radio buttons
  • check boxes
  • drop-down menus
  • Likert scales
  • text boxes
  • any combination of the above

Setting up a free ViewsFlash account is easy. Just request a polling place through the OIT Help Desk by calling (919) 684-2200. Each polling place is a password-protected area where you can create multiple surveys.

Learning to use ViewsFlash

To log in to use the application, go to http://www.duke.edu/survey/ and login. The software is equipped with context-sensitive help features to assist you with your survey. Additional help is available on our Survey Tool FAQ page. Instructor-led training and online training (via iTunes U) are also available.
